Firdaus Guritno is a volunteer, traveler, and writer whose guiding motto is “Simplicity in Usefulness”. With volunteer experiences across three continents and 17 countries, he has dedicated his career to humanitarian service and international collaboration. He is the Founder and Director of Philanthropy at the Global Humanity Network (GHN), which operates humanitarian programs in over 50 countries and supports Indonesian NGOs in global implementation. He holds a Ph.D. and Master of Philosophy from the Raja Zarith Sofiah Centre for Advanced Studies on Islam, Science, and Civilisation (RZS-CASIS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His mission is to draw upon past civilizational wisdom and experiences to co-create a brighter, more meaningful future with diverse stakeholders. In 2022, at the age of 36, he published his first book, Ungku Aziz’s Vision of Development (IKIM), which was launched by His Majesty Sultan Nazrin Shah, the Deputy King of Malaysia.
